PROCEEDS: The Beerline Shuffle is a one-of-a-kind community walk meant to inspire residents to get active, get creative, and get engaged. We encourage you to walk, skate, dance and shuffle down the trail while taking in the murals, participating in all the activity stations along way and listening to music from various artists. For the safety of all, we are restricting motorized forms of transportation and bicycles during this event. The event will include a scavenger hunt, live music, and multiple community art projects. Snacks, coffee, water will be included in your registration. There will be several restrooms along the route, as well as an ADA accessbile restroom at the Beerline Plaza (where the start and finish lines are located).

REGISTRATION: Participation in the Beerline Shuffle is free. For those wanting to the official Beerline Shuffle swag, as well as access to all snack stations, the cost is $15 for adults and $10 for children.

***To ensure that you will get a t-shirt, please register by August 17th! Registration will remain active until the day of the event, but t-shirt availability and sizes will be at a first-come first-serve basis.

LOCATION / TIME: The Beerline Shuffle will take place on Saturday, August 28th, starting and ending at the Beerline Plaza at 3350 N Holton St. Check-in will be from 8:00-9:00am, this is where you will get your t-shirts and swag bag. The walk starts promptly at 9:00am at the Beerline Plaza and will end at approximately 11:00am. Afterwards, there will be live music and a food truck event hosted by MKE Black on the Beerline Plaza from 11:00-3:00pm.

RECOMMENDATIONS: This event will be held rain or shine. Please dress appropriately for the weather, including layers for warm or rainy weather, as needed. You will want to wear comfortable walking shoes for walking on concrete and asphalt.Note, that there will be no official street closures, so it will be important that you cross the street carefully.

There are a few community art projects that could get a little messy; if you choose to participate in those, be sure to wear clothes that you are okay with possibly getting dirty. If you have sensitive hearing, ear plugs are also recommended.


T-SHIRTS and other SWAG: All T-Shirts will be unisex style. Final image of T-Shirt coming soon. Shirt sizes are available in Youth sizes Small-X Large and Adult sizes from Small - XXX Large.

As part of the premier $15 admission, you will also receive a branded backpack, water bottle, stickers, pen, FREE Ice Cream tickets and more!


PROCEEDS: All proceeds will go towards the cost of the event and/or to support Riverworks' mission of driving social and economic development to strengthen residents and businesses in Harambee, Riverwest, and the surrounding communities!

ROUTE: The route will start and end at the Beerline Plaza, located at 3350 N Holton St. Walkers will follow the Beerline Trail north to cross the pedestrian bridge over Capitol Dr. Once over the bridge, walkers will turn around and follow the trail all the way to Snails Crossing. Once at Snails Crossing, walkers will turn around one last time and head back to the Beerline Plaza. Multiple event stations will be located throughout the route, so keep a look out!!
