People, Place, and Prosperity are at the heart of our work. Comprehensive solutions across our community development corporation, financial clinic, neighborhood improvement district, dynamic social enterprises, and Beerline Trail help us positively impact businesses and residents in Milwaukee’s northeast corridor. We activate residents, strengthen and support families and neighborhoods, and grow small businesses.
This year we were excited to open The Connector Building in Harambee. It’s a new community hub and café integral to the revitalization of B-Line Park. It functions as a space for programming for Milwaukee’s Beerline Trail and houses Kuumba Juice and Coffee, a restaurant and cafe inspired by the sixth Kwanzaa principle — creativity in the context of uplifting one’s community.
We need your help to continue neighborhood redevelopment beyond B-Line Park! Your support can help activate affordable housing, attract and support community-owned businesses, ensure Anti-Displacement, and engage residents in revitalizing their neighborhood!
